About the school
We have formed a partnership with Bonas MacFarlane, one of London's most respected providers of private tuition and educational adviceâ? This partnership will allow Park House students access to some of the best tutors on the international market. Our first two tutors are:
ANDREW LAITHWAITE
with a BA in History and Politics from the University of Oxford. After graduating, Andrew has had three years experience in private tuition with a focus on humanities written work and Oxbridge applications.
Andrew is a keen traveller and has spent time as a volunteer teacher in Uganda and Tanzania. He has been involved in many drama productions, choirs and jazz bands.
Andrew is able to provide tutoring in the following areas:
- A Level English, History, Politics and Drama
- Timed questions and exam technique for essay-based subjects, up to and including A Level
- University applications to read History and/or Politics at Oxford Univeresity, including personal statements, the History Aptitude Test (HAT) and interview practice
- IGCSE Humanities and English
